22-Feb-15-UTC2355-00 - This log has not been updated in quite some time. Most recently, participated in the ARRL CW-DX International contest. Made contact with Hawaii, Sweden and Asiatic Russia (I am not a big contester)! Before this, the past two years HF operation has been sporatic, with most recent activites being on the ORCA Net, exploring the world of digital modes. Quite nice to find that even when SSB is unreadable, digital modes survive the poor propagation and high local noise levels. Soetimes signals can be decoded that are at the noise level.
